“We live today in a golden age. This is an era man that has looked forward to, dreamed of and worked toward for thousands of years. But since it’s here, we pretty well take it for granted.”
Whoa that really hit me. I so often forget that thanks to the internet, we live in probably the most opportunity-abundant stretch of time mankind has ever experienced. With a $200 netbook, an internet connection and a little bit of legitimate guidance, even the most insignificant of people can create multiple lucrative auto-pilot cash flows.
With that in mind, here’s the thought I want to focus on more this year.
I know the odds of me living in this particular stretch of time are 10,000,000,000:1.
Since I’m the lucky guy that got picked to be here, I can’t afford to take this for granted.
I’m not exactly a sucker for “self-help” programs, but I AM a big fan of old-fashioned ideals… Not to mention, it’s hard to not like Earl Nightingale!

Earl Nightingale had a rich, deep voice that was always a pleasure to hear. He was a walking ad for success since he achieved so much in his life so anything he says about success certainly deserves to be taken seriously. I haven’t watched this recording in a couple of years so thanks for reminding me of it.

When I read a book or hear advice I like to know whether or not the source is credible/has experience. In this case the source is the uber-successful Mr. Nightingale, so yes! It does deserve to be taken seriously!
